On a working visit to the District of Báruè, the Secretary of State for the Province of Manica, Edson Macuácua, called, last Friday (30/07), the Provincial Delegation of the Zambezi Agency located in Vila de Catandica (Báruè) and some projects supported by the institution.
In the Delegation of the Zambezi Agency in Manica, the Provincial delegate, Ricardo Jorge presented some activities supported by the institution and partnership in that part of the central province of the country.
Edson Macuácua also visited the Westfalia Company, one of the subprojects financed by the Catalytic Fund for Innovation and Demonstration, an initiative of the Government of Mozambique, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, coordinated by the Zambezi Agency, with resources from the World Bank.
The director also delivered a production kit (A motor pump, vegetable seeds, pesticides and fertilizers) to the Development and Entrepreneurship Agency, financed by the Zambezi Agency as part of the youth incubation process.
“We witness the ongoing work of transferring knowledge, technologies to communities and assistance to family members, integration in production systems using technologies” – said Edson Macuácua
The Secretary of State of Manica Province also challenged the Zambezi Agency to support local governments in the process of implementing and implementing the outcome plans, provincial development plans, including the mobilization of resources based on the potential of regional selection.
About the youth incubation process, “The Zambezi Agency should develop the same initiatives in other districts of the Zambezi Valley according to the potential of each district” – an incentive to the representative of the State of Manica Province.
