View of the President of the Republic’s stand of the Zambezi Agency on the sidelines of the fair as part of the launch of the Industrializing Mozambique Program
The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, visited the Zambezi Agency stand on the sidelines of the fair as part of the launch of the Industrialize Mozambique Program, which took place today in the District of Vanduzi, Manica Province.
During his visit to the Zambezi Agency, Filipe Nyusi appreciated some products resulting from the intervention (of the Zambezi Agency) in the agro-industry sector and received an explanation from the Delegate of the Province of Manica, Ricardo Jorge, regarding the prospects for 2021-2024.
Speaking at the official ceremony, the President of the Republic said that the Industrializing Mozambique Program could contribute to reducing dependence on imports, thus increasing exports in order to balance the trade balance.
According to the head of state “the program calls for the construction of infrastructure, such as water supply, expansion of telecommunications, the electricity grid; improving the business environment; training in local content matters; and promotion of financing, for industrial initiatives”
