Between September 28 and 29, around 100 producers from the districts of Gurué and Molumbo in Zambezia benefited from training and an exchange of experience on growing reno potatoes.
The activity to massify reno potato cultivation, supported by the Zambezi Agency, aims to increase production and productivity levels in the central region of the country, to an average of 60 tons per hectare.
During the activity, known as a field day, the producers had access to technologies and monitoring in order to optimize production and productivity.
The activity was attended by staff from the Zambezi Agency, the District Services for Economic Activities, among others.
