A training session for operators and managers of agricultural machinery parks took place in Dondo District, Sofala Province, on September 18 and 19.
The training is part of the Zambezi Valley Agricultural Mechanization Programme (PRMAG), an initiative of the Zambezi Agency, which aims to guarantee the availability of equipment that can increase levels of agricultural production and productivity.
A total of 38 participants were trained, including three managers and 35 operators from the districts of Cheringoma, Dondo Beira Nhamatanda, Marínguè and Muanza.
It should be noted that the training is expected to contribute to the efficient use of equipment in the 2023/24 agricultural campaign, by providing services for soil preparation, sowing, fertilizing, spraying, harvesting, transporting production, as well as ensuring the longevity of the machinery.
