Technicians from the Zambezi Agency and the Ministry of Land and Environment took part in training on the management and use of the Digital Decision Support Model from October 2 to 6 in Maputo.
During the training, given by the National Geospatial Development Agency, the trainees improved their knowledge of how to use and manage the digital platform of the Special Spatial Planning Plan for Tete Province and part of the Zambezi basin.
It should be noted that the Digital Decision Support Model is one of the components of the Zambezi Valley Special Spatial Planning Plan, which covers the province of Tete and part of the provinces of Manica, Sofala and Zambézia.
The Digital Model presents a proposal for fundamental guidelines to support the harmonization of activities in the different sectors, minimizing conflicts of use in the region by identifying areas of preferential vocation.
