The Zambezi Agency is participating in the 2nd Forum of Agribusiness, Industry and Logistics of Mozambique, which kicked off today in Beira City, Sofala Province.
The two day event (15th and 16th of June) is an initiative of the Association of Commerce, Industry and Services (ACIS) with the objective of promoting a platform for discussion of various issues of interest to the Government and economic agents.
The 2nd Agribusiness, Industry and Logistics Forum of Mozambique takes place in a format that is based on the realization of an exhibition of products and services for economic agents and some public entities, as well as a conference that aims to discuss issues concerning the Business Environment in the sectors of Agribusiness, Industry and Logistics, with emphasis on investment and financing opportunities, certification of national companies, among other aspects.
The opening ceremony was headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Silvino Moreno and was attended by the Governor of Sofala Province, Lourenço Bulha, the Director General of the Zambezi Valley Development Agency (Agência do Zambeze), Roberto Albino, in addition to other representatives of national (central and local) and international public institutions, and the private sector.
In this edition of the forum promoted by ACIS, the Zambezi Agency promotes some potentialities and opportunities of investments in the agricultural, forestry and processing sectors, as well as some financing lines.
The Zambezi Agency stand also has the participation of exhibitors and products from the provinces of Sofala, Zambezia, Manica and Tete.
