The sixth Tripartite Joint Meeting of the Nacala Development Corridor, involving Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi, is being held in Maputo City.
The three-day meeting, which is part of the Southern Africa Connectivity and Trade Project (SACCP), is being held under the leadership of Mozambique.
For this meeting, it is expected that the delegations of the three countries will strengthen cooperation and commitment to implement actions aimed at development focusing on trade facilitation, improvement of value chains and employment generation.
In this event, the Zambezi Agency is represented by the Focal Point of the PCCAA,
Gersone Nunes and the Head of the Financial Assistance Department, Alcides Nhamatate.
It should be noted that the Southern Africa Connectivity and Trade Project aims to stimulate private sector activity along specific corridors in Mozambique and Malawi by reducing trade costs and time, increasing value chain development, and improving access to infrastructure.
