Zambezi Agency has allocated to the agricultural production unit of the Civic Services of Mozambique in Tete, located in the village of Inhangona, equipment and agricultural inputs in order to strengthen the productive capacity aiming at increasing the production levels.
According to Isac Tsamuele, technician attached to the Zambezi Branch Office, in Tete Province, 80 watering cans were allocated,
seeds of beans, eggplant, tomato, pesticide belte and corn.
Isac Tsamuele underlined that the inputs and equipment “may contribute to the materialization of a training project for civic agents in matters related to agricultural production”.
It should be noted that the support of the Zambezi Agency, to the Civic Services of Mozambique, is intended to contribute to greater availability of products, reducing the import of food with the potential to be produced locally, in light of a memorandum of understanding signed by the two institutions.
