Around 70 representatives of public and private institutions are benefiting from training in controlled environment production technologies and climate change resilience.

The activity, which is taking place today in the district of Báruè in Manica, is part of the Agricultural Technology Innovation and Transfer Project (PROITA), an initiative of the Zambezi Agency aimed at guaranteeing the availability of food on the market all year round.

The Zambezi Agency provincial delegate, Alves Vicente, explained that ‘the establishment of this infrastructure guarantees an increase in agricultural production, productivity and profitability through this technology’.

‘It will reduce production losses caused by climate change and combat pests and diseases,’ he continued.
