On the 15th and 16th of November, the province of Sofala hosts the National Meeting of Environmental Inspection under the motto “Together for Environmental Quality”, with the objective of harmonizing the control and surveillance instruments of actions that attack the environment by form. to improve environmental surveillance. The opening ceremony was chaired by His Excellency Fernando de Sousa, Deputy Minister of Land and Environment, who also launched the Forest Inspection Strategy 2020-2024 and the Forest Inspection Manual. The Ceremony was attended by Stella da Graça Pinto Novo Zeca, Secretary of State for Sofala Province, participated in the opening ceremony and in her Intervention, among other aspects addressed: i. The need for greater involvement of District Administrators in the environmental inspection strategy; 2. Compliance with the turnover of inspectors and; 3. Better Interinstitutional Coordination
