The Governor of Manica Province, Francisca Domingos Tomas, praised the support of the Zambezi Agency in the mass production of reno potatoes.
Francisca Tomas said this yesterday during her visit to reno potato growers in the district of Vanduzi.
She challenged the Zambezi Agency to increase the number of producers involved in the Reno Potato Massification Project and the areas under cultivation in order to allow for greater coverage and an increase in production and productivity levels.
The field day was attended by around 120 producers from Vanduzi District, as well as representatives from the Zambezi Agency, members of the government, agricultural input service providers, among others.
