The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Rwanda, Béata U. Habyarimana, visited, yesterday morning (12/14), the Mozambique Pavilion, during the 24th Edition of the Rwanda International Fair, taking place in Kigali, the capital of that country , from December 9th to December 30th, 2021.

On the occasion, the General Director of the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports (APIEX, IP), representing the Mozambican delegation presented the Pavilhao.

According to the Director General of APIEX, Gil Bires, the national participation aims to promote investment opportunities in Mozambique, as well as export potential.
The Rwanda Fair counts on the participation of around 400 exhibitors from 25 countries, who exhibit their goods and services in the most diverse sectors of economic activity.

The national delegation comprises staff from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce; Zambezi Valley Development Agency (Zambezi Agency); the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy; Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries through INFRAPESCA; Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources through the Fund for Housing Development (FFH) and the Investment and Heritage Fund for Water Supply (FIPAG); National Institute of Tourism (INATUR, IP), among other private companies that intend to explore opportunities to establish partnerships in that country.

The Rwanda International Fair will provide exhibitors and visitors with the opportunity to interact through B2B and B2C meetings, with the aim of establishing partnerships and exploring new investment and business opportunities in light of the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic.
