A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Netherlands) is working from December 1st to the 3rd in Manica and Sofala provinces with the objective of elaborating projects to strengthen higher education and vocational training institutions, as well as to facilitate their linkage with the private and public sectors.
The initiative is part of a 10-year funding package made available by the Dutch government to Mozambican vocational technical education.
The Dutch funding program may cover the districts of Dondo, Nhamatanda and Beira (in Sofala Province), and Chimoio (in Manica Province). The delegation is working with public and private institutions, civil society organizations, NGOs, producer associations, and others.
