The Zambezi Agency participated today in the Business Forum and Exhibition of commercial products of Tete Province held in Tete City. This event is inserted in the scope of economic cooperation between Mozambique – European Union (EU).
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique, Veronica Macamo, the forum Mozambique – European Union responds to the wishes of the national executive to seek innovative initiatives to promote concrete measures to support businessmen in order to ensure the prosperity of the country. “Tete is a province graced with several and enormous potentialities from energy production, agriculture and livestock, fisheries, mineral resources” – justified the Minister of Foreign Affairs, urging the representatives of the European Union to “bring businessmen to take advantage of the favorable business environment and business investment opportunities that it (Tete) offers”.
The meeting was attended by the Governor of Tete Province, Domingos Viola, the Secretary of State of the Province, Elisa Zacarias, representatives of 11 EU countries, representatives of the private sector among others.
