The Zambezi Valley Development Agency (ADVZ) today (17 August) handed over a range of sports equipment to the Zambézia Provincial Education Directorate in the city of Quelimane.
The equipment includes balls, football boots, kits, rucksacks and other items. The equipment will benefit the more than 133 athletes who make up the Zambezia delegation at the National School Sports Games Festival, which is to take place in Inhambane province.
The initiative forms part of efforts to promote sport as a key factor in promoting health, whilst also helping to discover new talent in the central region of the country.
