The Director-General of the Zambezi Valley Development Agency (ADVZ), Celso Cunha, hosted the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the National Investment Bank (BNI), Abdul Jivane, on Thursday (13 August).
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the partnership between the two institutions, which led to the creation of a Financing Facility for Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship (FAE), established in 2017.
The FAE aimed to improve the value chain for agricultural products and to support entrepreneurs as part of the project to develop technical and professional skills in the Zambezi Valley.
Furthermore, on the same occasion, the parties discussed the second phase of the partnership, focusing on other economic sectors such as mining, the sustainable management of forest resources, tourism and others, as well as the joint mobilisation of resources.
