The Zambezi Valley Development Agency (ADVZ) and the SOICO Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday (8 July) in Maputo, with a view to promoting socio-economic development initiatives in the country’s Central Region.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate on the production and dissemination of content on the region’s development dynamics, potential and existing investment opportunities, thereby helping to raise its profile and attract investment.
The content will be disseminated through the SOICO Group’s various media outlets and platforms, namely: STV, STV Notícias, STV Play and the newspaper O País.
The Memorandum of Understanding was initialled by the Director-General of ADVZ, Celso Cunha, and the Chief Executive of the SOICO Group, Daniel David.
The partnership forms part of ADVZ’s strategy to raise awareness of the economic opportunities and potential of the Central Region through strategic communication that highlights the region’s resources, key infrastructure projects and ongoing development initiatives.
