Around 30 young people are in the process of being incubatein rice seed production in the district of Búzi, in Sofala Province.
The process of transferring technologies and incubating young people is the result of a partnership between the Zambezi Agency and the Buzi Company, which aims to develop technical skills linked to agribusiness in the production areas through the incubation program for young people and emerging producers, according to the Provincial Delegate of the Zambezi Agency in Sofala, Charles Parreirão.
Parreirão assured the availability of “150 hectares where each young person has access to an area of 5 hectares”.
“We hope to guarantee an increase in productivity and agricultural production by intensifying the transfer of agricultural technologies,” said the Zambezi Agency delegate in Sofala.
