The Director-General of the Zambeze Agency, Celso Cunha, met today in the city of Tete with business leaders and representatives of associations from the province.
Speaking to over one hundred (100) business leaders from the province, Celso Cunha explained that the event aimed to present the mechanisms
for supporting the private sector; to listen to the challenges faced by the business community; and to share the proposed Strategic Development Plan for the Zambezi Valley Region, a tool designed to guide actions in both the public and private sectors.
The director defended the institution’s commitment to investing in various sectors of activity.
“Our current focus remains on agribusiness, but we also want to boost the economy in different sectors such as mining and sustainable forest management,” explained Celso Cunha.
Speaking at the event, the President of the Tete Business Council (CEP), António Saene, expressed his satisfaction with the Zambeze Agency’s vision, which opens up opportunities to support companies operating in various sectors.
