Celso Cunha was introduced today as the new Director-General (DG) of the Zambezi Agency.
The ceremony, which took place at the institution’s headquarters in Tete, was presided over by the Minister of Planning and Development (MPD), Salim Valá, who oversees the Zambezi Agency.
Salim Valá challenged the new DG to boost the institution’s involvement across various sectors, taking into account the potential of the resources available in the Zambezi Valley region to contribute to integrated socio-economic development and the country’s general well-being.
On the occasion, the MPD Minister visited the Zambezi Agency’s premises and chaired a meeting with staff (held both in person and virtually).
